Howard Bayless

Howard Bayless brings over 25 years of extensive experience in real estate development, offering a comprehensive understanding of every phase of the process - from project inception and financing to construction and long-term asset management. As the driving force behind the company’s real estate and development operations, he oversees the daily execution of all projects, including site selection, entitlement, design coordination, budgeting, and construction oversight. 

In his role, Howard is responsible for managing the financing and capital structuring of Blue Steel’s development portfolio. He also plays a pivotal role in cultivating and expanding the company’s strategic relationships with equity partners, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders. 

As a licensed Certified General Contractor, Howard’s deep technical expertise ensures that each project is completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and with the highest standards of quality. Over his career, he has successfully managed and delivered more than $750 million in retail and industrial developments throughout the Southeastern United States, earning a reputation for reliability, precision, and innovative solutions. 

In addition to his role at Blue Steel, Howard serves on the boards of the Bank of Central Florida and Parker Street Ministries, where he provides valuable insight and leadership in both financial and community-driven initiatives. 

Educational Background

Howard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Auburn University.
