Kelly serves as Senior Vice President of Development for Blue Steel Development (BSD), where she leads the company’s development activities, including entitlement and permitting, and the planning and execution of new industrial development projects. With 17 years of experience across design, development, and construction, Kelly brings a strong understanding of the technical and regulatory considerations involved in successfully delivering industrial real estate projects.
Before joining BSD, Kelly was with High Street, where she supported all aspects of development and construction, with an emphasis on land acquisition, entitlement and permitting of new construction, and tenant improvements. She worked closely with consultants, municipalities, and other project stakeholders to advance projects through the development and construction process.
Prior to High Street, Kelly spent seven years as Vice President of Engineering for Becknell Industrial, where she led a team responsible for the pre-development and permitting of more than $800 million in new development projects nationwide. Earlier in her career, she spent more than 10 years as a civil engineer with design firms throughout the Chicagoland area. This combination of engineering, development, and construction experience provides Kelly with a comprehensive perspective on the development process and the ability to navigate complex project requirements.

Kelly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
